In a world where everyone's life is a movie, Seb, who is stuck in a drama, tries to add new genres to his clapperboard.
Hi! My name is Alle and I am so excited that 'Lifetime Movie' has been nominated for Best Acting! I live in Melbourne but I am originally from Geelong. I’m currently in my third year studying Film and Television at Swinburne University. ‘Lifetime Movie’ is my first time writing and directing, and I had the time of my life seeing it come together. I love being on set, collaborating with others and my main interest in film is directing and production design.
What inspired you and your work?
‘Lifetime Movie' was inspired by one of my best friends, Seb, who plays the main character. Our shared humour and love for vintage fashion is where ‘Lifetime Movie’ stems from! ‘Lifetime Movie' is a mix of visuals from 'The Truman Show' and the humour of 'J'amie Private School Girl'. I chose to make this short film because I felt a visually intense, camp comedy is just what the world needs right now!
