Hazy

From Ayden Trinder

As a man stumbles through a day filled with bizarre, unseen attacks, he pieces together that his vengeful ex is wielding a voodoo doll against him.

Hi! My name's Ayden. I'm a filmmaker based in Melbourne with a versatile skill set spanning directing, cinematography, and editing. I'm passionate about projects that empower young filmmakers to bypass traditional industry ladders, stop waiting for permission, and bring their passion projects to life.

What inspired you and your work?

This music video was inspired by the unique opportunity to collaborate with an artist from the other side of the world. Frankie October discovered my work online from Sweden, and despite never meeting face to face, we developed the project entirely through the internet. After hearing the song, I wanted to create a concept that reflected its themes of toxic relationships and unresolved conflict. With this project, I simply listened to the song and imagined the images that came with it. When I pitched the concept to Frankie, he was ecstatic. From that point on it became a true creative collaboration.
