Is This A Robbery?
From Sam Davison
Jimmy is a confident, seasoned robber who breaks into a wealthy home expecting an easy job. Instead, he finds a family already tied up by another criminal. As the situation unravels, Jimmy is forced into an uneasy confrontation that tests his nerve, his morals, and what kind of criminal he actually wants to be, turning a simple robbery into something far more complicated.

What inspired you and your work?
This project was inspired by wanting to shoot an iPhone short film and really push the quality we could get out of it - using bits of gear, but keeping it small. We also wanted to shoot a one-take film, something we hadn't really tried before. The one-take goes through a house and a lot of tight spaces, so we really needed the form factor of an iPhone to get that manoeuvrability. Visually we were influenced by films like 1917 and the extended action sequences in John Wick, plus the comedy-action style of Kingsman - especially the one-take scene from the second film.
