FOOL
From Bronte Harrison
Court Jester Beatrix has fallen madly in love with her sweet Princess Aria. On the Queen's Jubilee, she has to have her, but how far will she go for love?
FOOL is an animated musical about desperation, desire, clowns, and a little bit of violence.
Hello, I’m Bronte Harrison, I’m a Melbourne based animator and a musical theatre lover. I love creating the wacky and whimsical in my animations, and especially enjoy incorporating music and theatre into them, as they are a huge inspiration of mine. I have recently been working at Princess Bento on their new show ‘Dad’s House’ and am currently developing a series based on my short film!
What inspired you and your work?
My film came from a time when I was actually struggling academically in uni. I was getting caught up over creating a more serious, emotional film. I thought that the more serious films seemed to be the ones to ‘do better’ in festivals, so my original concept was a much sadder, more grief inspired film. But I forgot that film making is about having fun, enjoying my craft. So I put all of my personality and silliness into creating FOOL instead. I had a much more enjoyable time!
